The other night I had a dream in which I was eating chinese food appetizers. I specifically remember eating chicken wings and boneless spareribs. Even the colors of the food were vivid and accurate, and I could taste it!

Never had a dream like that before.

I'm not on a diet or anything like that. I chalk it up to my migraine medication.

I missed my niece's birthday party yesterday - migraine. There was no way I was going to be able to make it to a pool party. My younger brother JC picked up Son to take him to the party. Husband went for the dinner afterwards. Husband's gout is pretty bad ( Read more... )

I was pain-free for about 24 hours. Then of course, I woke up this morning with a migraine. I'm working a 1/2 day today. Hopefully the kick-ass medicine -Relpax- will arrive in the mail today. I'm all out of it. The Imitrex just masks the pain for about 8 hours, while the Relpax knocks it out completely. Of course the Relpax is very expensive ( Read more... )

It's Easter season again, so that means it's time for Peeps!

I've been buying a few, several, ok tons of them. Son and I are overindulging in the marshmallowy-sugary dyed goodness!

I'm off to acupuncture.

I suddenly noticed yesterday as I was standing in line to get lunch that I actually felt good. It's been weeks since I felt good. I guess maybe the antibiotics have worked and taken care of the ear and sinus infections.

So I just got back from the doctor's. I'm going to have to go on the Tricor after all, my cholesterol and trygliceride numbers are creeping up.

I also apparently have an ear infection, and a sinus infection. Maybe that's why I've had a continuous migraine for the past month?

Of course I started it by waking up with a migraine this morning. So now I'm comfortably stoned, after sleeping away most of the afternoon.

Son went to visit his friend Rory. Husband picked up wings and ribs for dinner, but I passed on them.

Now it's time for some real work unfortunately.

My massage yesterday was nothing short of heavenly. It knocked out the low-grade headache I'd had for days. I'm still feeling it's relaxing effects.

Of course the fact that it's sunny and in the low 80's has helped my disposition tremendously today as well. Plus it's payday tomorrow!
